Magnum Opus is back and ready to take over the wooooooorld! We got a story in the LA Times about our open-ended run, 11pm Friday nights @ Sacred Fools. Serial Killers is back on 3/29 for more hilarity on Saturdays @ 11pm, and you can check out some clips on the YouTube.
I'll be appearing at The Moth LA GrandSlam Storytelling Contest @ KingKing on April 14th, thanks to my slam-winning story @ Tangiers last fall. In other winning news, me n' the folks in last year's SWINE SHOW @ Sacred Fools were nominated for an LA Weekly Award for Best Comedic Ensemble. Yay!
After playing Ireland Baldwin in the Showtime pilot "Not Penn Jillette" last May, I shot an episode of Penn & Teller: Bullshit! that will air on Showtime this summer. So far this year I've booked nationals for Sony, Centrum and a Diet Pepsi Max SuperBowl spot. You can also look for me in Geico, Oust, Chevy and Circuit City/Firedog spots running now.
Constant Motion Pictures the short film fest I co-host at Sacred Fools, is on hiatus, doing disservice to its name, but you can still submit your shorts! I've also been doing lots of writing, including the "START HERE" column in Backstage. Click here to read em and have a lovely day!
